Ikea literature set to arrive at homes across the North
IT has 191 million currently in circulation around the world, has one of the largest global readerships, is printed in 27 languages and is about to embark on a major delivery in Northern Ireland. Around 645,000 IKEA catalogues one of the world most famous publications will be delivered to homes throughout the North ahead of IKEA Belfast opening next month (Thursday December 13).

IKEA Belfasts store manager Paul Reid says the Northern Ireland catalogue drop is designed to give the pubic a taste of what they can expect in the new IKEA store.

Everything that is in the IKEA catalogue will be available in the new IKEA Belfast store. At IKEA there really is something for everyone from a superb childrens section to bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms and much more.

We hope the catalogue will also educate people who may not be familiar with IKEA. IKEA places a big emphasis on coupling with style, quality and cutting edge design with functionality and affordability, said Mr Reid.

The IKEA catalogue, which is packed with new IKEA products and inspirational ideas, has been in circulation since 1951. 191 million copies of the latest 2008 edition were printed.
The IKEA Belfast store will open its doors at 10am on Thursday December 13. The 29,000 sq meter store the equivalent of 5 football fields will be one of IKEAs flagship stores, will house over 9,500 products and will have the largest restaurant in Northern Ireland.
